The popularity of the MS Office 97 suite of applications has been pretty amazing over the past couple of years. However, the other applications included in this suite can be mastered with a little motivation and some training. However, the Access relational database application has put the creation of relational databases, that had previously been mostly in the hand of programmers, into the hands of common computer users in all walks of life. Of course, since Access is installed on your computer , you are probably required to at least have a working knowledge of what it will do for you and/or your boss!
