How do I create a resume to apply for work at home jobs?

Create a Word formatted resume to apply for work at home jobs

You will need a Formatted resume, preferably created in Microsoft Word (the most common word processing application) to send as an attachment only if the employer has specified it. Use colors to spice it up, but stay away from red! Red evokes an angry emotion, and that is not the goal! Use soft blues, grays, and soft greens to highlight the sections. You will also need this to apply by mail or fax. If you are looking for more than one type of job description, be prepared with different resumes for different occasions. Your resume should focus on the type of job you are applying to.

I have worked as a nurse continuously for 10 years and for the last 3 years have worked with home health. I have received many alternative rewards for extraordinary service. I have the ability to exercise independent and sound judgement in decision making. I have great organizational and time management skills and am very comfortable with use of computer and keyboarding skills.

I received requests for prior authorization for Kentucky Medicaid Home Health via faxes and telephone. I helped to develop a QA process for this program. The material that I gathered for quality purposes was presented to the state of Kentucky to show areas that were improving and other areas that continued to require hands on assistance. I accurately documented in an electronic record according to project protocols. I diligently worked to help facilitate the transition to a URAC accredited program.

1997 - 2002 Marion General Hospital; Staff Nurse
I worked in various areas of the hospital. I helped develop the free-standing Confestive Heart Failure Clinic, developing the information to be presented to patients and collaborated with the doctors as to the criteria for the program participants.
